#heartbeatstories: snapshots vs. short stories?

Taking snapshots is easy enough – but (how) can you capture one moment – a few pounding heartbeats – with words?

the snapshots: I snapped away on my disposable camera (#veryretro) and ended up with a bunch of wonderfully spontaneous images – they’re probably not the prettiest, the most beautiful of photographs, but that is not the point. They capture a fraction of life – ba-dum, ba-dum, ba-dum.

the short stories: Inspired by these snapshots, I dreamed up my characters, threw them into the picture(s) – and will be attempting to tell a fraction of their lives – mimicking the effect of taking snapshots (ba-dum, ba-dum, ba-dum).
